
Jenny Stone
Practice Manager
Jenny qualified as a veterinary nurse from Hartpury College in 2007 and joined Seymour Vets in the same year. Following maternity leave with her second daughter Jenny re-joined the practice as a receptionist/administrator and took over as practice manager in 2017. At home she enjoys spending time with her children and husband on the family farm and meals out with friends.

Oonagh Arblaster
Receptionist
Oonagh joined us in 2017 to cover maternity leave. She has a BSc in animal management, health and welfare from Harper Adams University and has previously completed work experience at a wildlife farm in Namibia. At home Oonagh has a dog, two cats and a horse.

Sarah Ballard
Receptionist/Insurance Administrator
Sarah has a degree in animal science; she joined us in 2005 as a receptionist and moved into a more admin based role in 2009. Following the birth of her second child she now works part-time. Sarah processes all our client’s insurance claims. She has a Springer Spaniel called Alfie.

Emily Barge
Receptionist
Emily joined us in 2010 as receptionist and has built up the necessary varied knowledge that receptionists need. She liaises with the charities we work with such as the PDSA. Outside of work she enjoys walking, reading and spending time with family and friends. She also spends a lot of time chasing her young son around. At home she has two rescue cats, Esme and Bananas.

Rosie Cartwright
Admin/Receptionist
Rosie joined us in 2012 as a receptionist/administrator after working at Happy Stay kennels and cattery for five years. Outside of work Rosie enjoys shopping for shoes and painting her nails and all things pink! At home she enjoys spending time with her beloved Jack Russell, Alfie and cat, Tom.

Lucy Higgin
Admin/Receptionist
Lucy has been with the practice since 1999 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2002. She was practice manager for six years before starting her family. She has returned to an admin position following the birth of her third child. Outside of work she enjoys hashing with the South Hams Hash Harriers, helping her husband on his dairy farm and spending time in the Devon countryside with her children.

Rachel Langdon
Admin/ Receptionist
Rachel joined the practice in 2002. She works full-time between the Preston and Totnes surgeries. When she is not working her time is taken up running a crazy household of children and various animals. She is often seen running with her two dogs, Norman and Mavis, and occasionally competes in marathons.

Kate Laing
Receptionist
Kate has returned to work at the practice after having her first son, Owen. She works on reception. Outside of work Kate is an experienced surfer and enjoys travelling, particularly to New Zealand where her husband’s family live.

Abby Walker
Receptionist
Abby joined our Preston team in 2015 having completed a degree in animal behaviour and welfare. After two years at our Preston surgery she has joined our reception team at Totnes. Abby has completed the Blue Cross Pet Bereavement course. At home she has a dog, a cat and a house rabbit. She enjoys walking and agility with her dog Cleo as well as swimming.

Georgie Hatch
Domestic Assistant
Georgie re-joined us when we moved to the new premises as it became apparent that we needed help with the daily domestic duties! She worked with us previously as a receptionist before starting a family. In her spare time Georgie enjoys cycling and crocheting. She has two rescue dogs, a cat and a parrot.
