Jenny qualified as a veterinary nurse from Hartpury College in 2007 and joined Seymour Vets in the same year. Following maternity leave with her second daughter Jenny re-joined the practice as a receptionist/administrator and took over as practice manager in 2017. At home she enjoys spending time with her children and husband on the family farm and meals out with friends.
Preston Branch Manager
Rachel joined the practice in 2002. She works full-time between the Preston and Totnes surgeries. When she is not working her time is taken up running a crazy household of children and various animals. She is often seen running with her two dogs, Norman and Mavis, and occasionally competes in marathons.
Oonagh joined us in 2017 to cover maternity leave and is now a permanent part of the team. She has a Bsc in Animal Management, Health and Welfare from Harper Adams University and has previously completed work experience at a wildlife farm in Namibia. Outside of work, Oonagh enjoys horse riding, traveling, spending time with family and going on adventures with her dog, Reggie, the 'wannabe Poodle'.
Sarah has a Degree in Animal Science; she joined us in 2005 as a receptionist and moved into a more admin based role in 2009. Following the birth of her second child she now works part-time. Sarah processes all our client’s insurance claims. She has guinea pigs, sheep and chickens.
Emily joined us in 2010 as receptionist and has built up the necessary varied knowledge that receptionists need. She liaises with the charities we work with such as the Blue Cross. Outside of work she enjoys walking, reading and spending time with family and friends. She also spends a lot of time chasing her young son around. At home she has three rescue cats, Esme, Bananas and Kylo.
Lucy has been with the practice since 1999 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2002. She was practice manager for six years before starting her family. She has returned to an admin position following the birth of her third child. Outside of work she enjoys hashing with the South Hams Hash Harriers, helping her husband on his dairy farm and spending time in the Devon countryside with her children.
Caroline joined Seymour Vets in September 2019, having previously worked at Animals in Distress. She has an NVQ in Animal Care and recently completed a Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service. In her spare time Caroline enjoys family trips with her husband and two children and being outdoors exploring with her dogs Roxie and Ralph. At home she also have two cats, a rescue rabbit and hamsters.
Georgie re-joined us when we moved to the new premises as it became apparent that we needed help with the daily domestic duties! She worked with us previously as a receptionist before starting a family. In her spare time Georgie enjoys cycling and crocheting. She has two rescue dog called Dandy and Rosita.
