When you register onto the scheme you will need to come into the practice for a health check with one of our qualified nurses and pay an annual £22 registration fee (this covers your pets booster for the year and microchipping if this has not already been done).
Pets registered onto the scheme will receive discounted neutering, flea and worming treatments.
Clients are asked to make a contribution with each visit towards your pets treatment. If clients registered on the Blue Cross scheme are seen out of hours they will need to pay an additional £40 fee.
Normally clients will be able to register up to two pets per household, including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils and small birds such as budgies, but in the first few months this will be limited to one pet. This is because we want to help as many people and their pets as we can.
